‘Diary of a request Siena necessary but not sufficient'

Siena: a little town of about 60,000 residents, most of which are students moved there with the desire of finding a better reality than the one just left behind.
This students are among the first to close the ranks of the protest, in order to demonstrate against the plan of the Ministry of Education Mariastella Gelmini to cut the school's funds.
The protests, all over Italy, have achieved
a great success: actually, the final approval at the Government will be fixed after the 14th of December, when Berlusconi's mandate will probably end.
The Rector's office is still in the hands of the students, so They can organise their protests there as They have done in the last few days: marches in the old town centre, traffic jams and a symbolical torchlight walk.
The initiatives have been well-attended so all the students are thinking about a stronger display of their discontent, as the squatting of all the high schools and universities from the 9th of December to the 14th. All will start from Scientific High School "Galileo Galilei", that will give the "input" to the other schools.
During these squattings, the students will hold lessons in order to inform everybody about the will of the insecure government towards the school in addition of the generation of an official documents with students' ideas to improve the school.
Every Italian student is aware to be without future and will protest against the unfair decisions of the Government.
So WATCH OUT: "The student's wave is come back" in Siena, too.
